Whether you like your pop simple and cheesy or with a bit more depth, complexity and subtlety, Das Pop's pristine tunes with production from Soulwax are sure to give you something to hum along to. The storm clouds gathering on the horizon couldn't stop the crowd bouncing around to their infectious tunes and from a photgraphy point of view, they were great to shoot, with lot's of interaction between the band members (the rhythm section in particular). Â Thankfully the weather was generous and waited until they had left the stage before giving the Castlefields Arena a thorough rinsing.
